Our Alumnae are our Anchors
The decision to be a part of the Alpha Sigma Tau sisterhood is not merely for your college years--it is a lifelong commitment to love and support its members. Alumnae do this in many different ways. If they still live close by, they may stop by and visit the newest members. They may keep up with how the sorority is doing through Facebook, Twitter, and plain ol' email. If they've had good fortune, they may contribute by sending donations for our philanthropies, fundraisers, or just because. But no matter where you are, you are still a member of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority.
The chapter strives to keep our alumnae up-to-date with what they are up to. Most recently, the chapter has made a commitment to hosting at least one alumnae event each semester. In the fall, we invite our alumnae to attend our Founder's Day celebration. In the spring, we hope to meet our alumnae's families by having a kid-friendly picnic.
Many alumnae have asked how they can assist the chapter. While some are able to contribute financially, we know that is not possible for everyone. We would like to challenge Gamma Gamma alumnae to contribute financially OR with their time. For those who contribute a minimum of either $100 or 10 service hours (or any combination of the two!) to the chapter, as a token of our gratitude, we will extend an invitation for two to our Yellow Rose Ball, which is held every March on the weekend closest to St. Patrick's Day. We will post service opportunities as they become available, and hope that all of our alumnae will continue donating their gifts and talents to our exceptional chapter! For invitations to Yellow Rose Ball 2015, please have all donations and hours submitted by Feb. 1st. Monetary donations can be submitted online at http://donate.billhighway.com/astGG.
